
Across from the Hungarian Parliament Building in Kossuth ter stands Lajos Kossuth, the leader of the 1848 revolution against the Habsburgs, heroically calling the nation to arms. He overcomes the viewer with his power and decisive authority.

...until a fat pigeon is comforted by his gentle offer. He now becomes a caring man of fellow creatures a la Uncle Remus. Hear the whistle.

I like him much better with the pigeon! I can almost here the mice scrambling to sew his dress, the squirrels running about to gather nuts for the event, and birds singing along to his lyrical call to arms.
